Kool Boiz Foundation is dedicated to empowering young men of color in Youngstown.
Volunteers spend lunchtime with about 20 boys each at Youngstown Community School and Rayen Early College Middle School.
The foundation was established 10 years ago, and this year it's opening a branch in Columbus.
The principal at one of the schools believed the organization would be successful working with students because Kool Boz volunteers look like the students.
