When Karson White graduated from State College of Florida with a degree in choral music, she didn’t think she’d end up in the music business.
“I didn’t think I’d make it to college,” she says.
“I didn’t think I’d make it as a singer.” But she did, and now she’s been awarded a $1,000 scholarship to attend Brigham Young University in 2022, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune reports.
“I have made music my life,” White says, “and having the support of my musical endeavors inspires me to continue to strive for excellence in all of my work.”
