Middle school students in Clarksville, Tenn., will get a chance to learn about chemistry and biology thanks to a donation from a professional hockey team.
The Nashville Predators Foundation has given a $5,000 grant to Austin Peay State University to fund a week-long camp for students in grades 6 through 8, the Leaf-Chronicle reports.
"Thanks to this grant, middle school students in the area will have the opportunity to delve into'a variety ofdesigned to broaden their knowledge and ignite their curiosity, all without any financial hurdles,'" an APSU professor of chemistry says in a release.
The camp will focus on hands-on experiences in chemistry and biology, per the Leaf-Chronicle.
