The goal of Sing It Out is "self-actualization, resiliency, relationship building, and artistic expression," according to the nonprofit's website.

During the Sing It Out program, participants learn vocal training, get to know professional musicians, and then perform a solo cover of the Beatles' song in front of an audience.
