The UN's children's agency is offering a six-month fellowship for young environmentalists who want to make a difference in the fight against climate change.
The Leading Minds Fellowship on Climate 2024 is open to people between the ages of 15 and 25 who "burn with a passion for climate action," according to a press release from UNICEF.
The six-month paid fellowship, which starts in February 2024, will allow fellows to "work towards tangible climate breakthroughs while offering them a stipend for their contributions," the press release says.
The fellowship will take place in Florence, Italy, between May and June of that year, and fellows are required to submit "anything that showcases their passion for climate action and their vision for a sustainable future," the press release says.
"It is a rare opportunity for young leaders to network with peers, mentors, and experts in the field of climate action, setting the stage for future collaborations and initiatives," the press release says.
