If you're a woman, a non-binary person, or someone assigned female at birth, a new network in Canada can help.
BetaKit reports on Femtech Canada, which launched this month after two years of "operating in stealth."
According to its website, Femtech Canada is "the first network of its kind in the world dedicated to supporting women's health startups."
Founded by entrepreneur Rachel Bartholemew, Femtech Canada will provide networking, training, mentorship, and business advisory support to women's health startups, according to its website.
Companies in Femtech's network include Hyivy Health, which is developing a smart pelvic health rehabilitation system, as well as more than 120 other startups, scale-ups, industry partners, investors, accelerators, and service providers.
According to aMcKinsey's report, women's health is a "chronically underfunded" segment of the health care industry, with women making up more than 80% of healthcare decisions around the world.
Femtech Canada wants to change that.
