The tiny island of the Isle of Man is offering $1 million to the winner of its "biggest-ever Innovation Challenge" to come up with technology-based solutions to some of the world's biggest problems, the BBC reports.
The challenge, which is being offered by the Isle of Man Department of Enterprise and the Isle of Man Government's Executive Agencies for Digital, Finance, and Business, is open to businesses from around the world in the fintech, cleantech, and artificial intelligence fields.
According to a press release, the winner will receive $1 million and the opportunity to present their solution to an expert panel in the summer 2024 finale.
The winner in the fintech, cleantech, and artificial intelligence categories will also receive mentorship and exposure to potential clients and investors.
The final winner in all three categories will be chosen by a panel of judges in the summer 2024 finale.
