A Bay Area woman has been named the new chief philanthropy officer of the $3 billion Marin Community Foundation, the North Bay Business Journal reports.
Janelle Cavanagh has been with the Global Fund for Women for nine years, most recently as vice president, Strategic Partnerships.
"Janelle brings an impressive track record of successes in donor development and education, strategic planning, mentoring and championing staff growth, and serving as an empowering and resourceful manager," says the foundation's president and CEO.
Cavanagh has a bachelor's in Psychology from UC Berkeley and a master's in Social Welfare, Management and Planning. Read the Entire Article
