COPEMA seeks to mobilise parliamentary support to increase domestic funding and ensure effective implementation of malaria control strategies.
The disease accounts for approximately 600,000 deaths globally each year - including more than 400,000 children under the age of five.
2025 is a critical year for malaria advocacy as the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund) prepared for its Eighth Replenishment cycle.
