In 2017, the American Heart Association installed a hands-only CPR kiosk at Lurie Children's.
In 2020, Lurie's former president and CEO, Patrick Magoon, was honored with the Heart of Gold award for his work advocating for children's health and his service as a long-standing local volunteer.
