El Dorado's 2024 summer youth work program has come to a close.
City Council Member Judy Ward shared a few takeaways from the program this year.
The program initially launched in 2019 with a focus on offering jobs to area youth to help clean up and beautify the city, via the Department of Public Works.
One of the participants who attended the training session in 2023 found a job in Smackover.
