The Columbiana Athletic Boosters recently were awarded a $10,000 grant from Dick's Sporting Goods Foundation for the Firestone Stadium complex restoration project.
The $2 million project total is being completed in phases with the Foundation's funds supporting the replacement of the new home stands which is set to be complete in time for the start of the 2024 season.
The Foundation is celebrating a decade of awarding grants to local youth sports organizations and has donated more than $100 million since 2014.
