Pieces for Peace is an art exhibit that's been popping up all over the world since the wake of Sept.
11, and now it's making a stop in Connecticut.
The exhibit is a collaboration between New York-based arts organization CITYarts and 113 different countries, and it features works from young artists from all over the world who've been asked what peace looks like to them, the New Haven Register reports.
Pieces for Peace arrived in New Haven through "a little bit of serendipity," says the director of Creative Arts Workshop, where the exhibit is on display until July 14.
"You can see that students have incredible diversity in how they think about what peace means to them, so they've created some pretty fascinating imagery," she says.
A local peace wall is also in the works.
