This year's ARTprenticeship class is made up of 18 students, all of whom work alongside mentors for hands-on learning through an eight-week paid internship, the Waco Tribune reports.
"All of us have been helping get everything ready, blocking out certain areas that people can paint and helping people know where to go," says Lucy Ward, one of the ARTprenticeship students.
On Saturday, everyone who came to Community Paint Day to paint a new mural at the Cameron Park Zoo got free entry into the zoo after they finished, KXXV reports.

"I'm always surprised by the amount of people who are really interested and invested in the process, so it's really fun
