The Maximus Foundation has awarded more than $2 million in grants to 209 nonprofit organizations in 31 states and the District of Columbia.
Each recipient will receive a $10,000 grant to further their work in community development, youth programs, and healthcare services, reports the Wall Street Journal.
The grants are focused on homelessness prevention, job training, youth development, and education, per a press release.
"The annual grant giving from the Maximus Foundation is extremely personal to our employees because the efforts of these nonprofits mirror the causes and initiatives they care about," says President and CEO Bruce Caswell.
The Maximus Foundation was founded in 2000 by the company's board of directors and has awarded more than 3,000 grants totaling more than $15 million in its history, per the press release.
In 2025, the foundation's grants will shift from annual unrestricted grants to multi-year, unrestricted financial support. Read the Entire Article
