So says Tim Robinson, CEO of Ohio's Nationwide Children's Hospital, which this week announced a $100 million donation from the Nationwide Foundation, the largest ever from a corporate foundation for a children's hospital in the US, per a press release.
The announcement comes as part of the hospital's Empower the Possible campaign, which has raised more than $270 million, more than halfway to its $500 million goal.
The $100 million donation "represents the largest ever corporate foundation commitment to a children's hospital in the United States," per a press release.
It will "enable Nationwide Children's to realize the vision of: Advancing cutting-edge treatment and discovery through integrated clinical care and research," creating a national model for expanding access to behavioral health services, creating the healthiest community of children by addressing the social determinants of health, and increasing support for Genomics Research and Personalized Medicine.
