For the first time, Bangladesh will be sending a team to compete in the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence, set to take place in 2024 in Bulgaria.
The Wall Street Journal reports the Bangladesh Intelligence Olympiad is a joint initiative of the Bangladesh Open-Source Network and eGeneration, a tech company that specializes in artificial intelligence.
The goal of the Olympiad is "to inspire and challenge young minds to explore the vast potential of AI," per a press release from eGeneration.
The participating high school students are from around the world.
