"We are excited to welcome these startups to TMC as companies are making significant strides in drug discovery and health tech developments," Devin Dunn, head of the Accelerator for Health Tech at Texas Medical Center, says in a press release.
TMC and the BioInnovation Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark, have selected four startups to participate in a six-month accelerator program designed to help them expand into the US market.
The companies areAMPA Medical, which focuses on improving quality of life through health technology; Ciletlet, which focuses on children's microbiomes; BioDrop, which focuses on gut healing; and BioHealth Tech, which focuses on cancer therapies.
The accelerator will take place in Houston, and participants will travel there for an inaugural session on May 13, 2024, for preliminary US customer validation.
Participants will also have the opportunity to work with TMC advisors and mentors.
"As they look to expand into the US market, the collaborative environment fostered by our dedicated team, programs, and clinical community will help them recruit their innovations, foster research collaborations, and further develop partnerships here in Houston," says Dunn. Read the Entire Article
