"How can I change the world?" That's the question at the heart of Change the World 2024, a student-run competition at Arizona State University that encourages students to think outside the box when it comes to global problems.
This year's theme: "How can I change the world in 2024?" Students were asked to submit proposals in four categories: art, pitch, performance, or exhibit.
Among the winners: Uzoma Ndulue's "Good Road Collection" in the art category; Anne Perry's "The Importance of Furnishing Athletes From All Backgrounds" in the art category; and Sofie Wycklendt's "The Pieces of My Own Mosaic" in the performance category, the Arizona Republic reports.
"I feel like with the problems we have, you need someone that can think outside of the box," Ndulue tells the Republic.
"Not only does Change the World encourage scientific and professional solutions, but it also fosters an environment of change that leans into mediums of art as powerful forces."
