When it comes to getting a college degree in India, it's often not enough to have a degree from a well-known university in the countryor even a degree from a US university.
That's about to change.
The Times of India reports that a number of Indian universities are now offering US-style dual-degree programs.
According to the Wall Street Journal, it's all part of a push by the country's higher education ministry to offer more options for students who don't have a degree from a well-known university.
For example, the Indian Institute of Management in Chennai is now offering a dual-degree program in economics and marketing.
