If you've got a new idea to get rid of your carbon footprint, Black & Veatch has just the program for you.

The engineering and construction company has launched the IgniteX Carbon Dioxide Removal Accelerator, a 12-week virtual program that provides mentorship, product testing, and investor introductions for startups working on technologies that remove carbon from the atmosphere, Business Wire reports.

"With the challenges of climate change mounting, it's increasingly paramount that we accelerate novel technologies that ultimately will help lower the global carbon footprint both at scale and affordability," a Black & Veatch VP says in a press release.

"This program seeks to do just that."
