"Today's youth may often think of healthcare in terms of the traditional sense of simply working with patients," Henri Crockett, president of the Crockett Foundation, says in a press release.

"However, through this partnership with HCA, the Crockett Foundation strives to provide access and knowledge to our youth regarding the diverse career track opportunities which range from artificial intelligence (A.I.) and robotic technologists to cybersecurity."

That's thanks to a $25,000 grant from the HCA Healthcare Foundation, part of HCA Healthcare, which aims to " nurture a pipeline of talent that will contribute to growth and innovation in the healthcare sector," Charles Gressle, president of HCA East Florida Division, says in the release.

The HCA Healthcare Foundation's Healthier Tomorrow Fund, a community impact fund with an initial investment of $75 million, is "an investment in the wellbeing of our community," Gressle adds.

Per the press release, the $25,000 grant will help Crockett Foundation's after-school and summer youth development and coding programs in Broward County, Fla., "to develop future leaders across many creative spaces, specifically technology and innovation."

The youth will be exposed to "the multiple points of entry in this growing field and to a potentially fulfilling career pathway," Gressle Read the Entire Article
