The next International Architecture Exhibition in Venice won't feature any modern architecture at all.

Instead, it's going to feature "a new lexicon of terms and definitions," according to a press release.

The project, called A Fragile Correspondence, is a collaboration between a group of Scottish artists, a magazine, and a museum, and it's going to take place in November 2024 at the Victoria and Albert Museum in Dundee, the Guardian reports.

The idea is to show how architecture can be more "sensitive" to the environment it operates in, the press release explains.

The exhibition will feature work from 19 artists from around the world, and it's expected to draw more than 200,000 visitors over the course of its six-month run, the Guardian reports.

The project is meant to reflect on the closure of a Scottish steelworks in the wake of the financial crisis, according to the press release.

"In doing so, the exhibition explores alternative perspectives and new approaches to the challenges of the worldwide climate emergency," the press release states.

"Through creative explorations including artworks, photography, sculpture, installation work, film, audio and sound, and by proposing a new lexicon of terms and definitions, the exhibition looks to see the potential in possible futures that sensitively work in Read the Entire Article
