Foundation is known for its support of Detroit's arts and culture, but it's putting its money where its mouth is.
The foundation has awarded a $118,000 grant to Advancing Macomb, a group that works to improve the lives of residents in Michigan's Macomb County, the Detroit Free Press reports.
"We are extremely grateful to the Ralph C.
Wilson Jr.
Foundation for this generous grant," Brian Pilarski, board chair of Advancing Macomb, said in a press release.
"This funding will help us expand our reach and impact throughout Macomb County and set us up for continued success in 2024."
The Macomb Daily reports that the Ralph C.
Wilson Jr.
Foundation has awarded more than $1 million to groups in the Detroit area in recent years.
