Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Wash., is looking for a director of philanthropy to help it raise $100 million over the next decade, Reuters reports.
The director of philanthropy will focus on the university's diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice initiatives, and will work with the associate vice president for philanthropy and the college's leadership, program directors, faculty, and key stakeholders to develop and carry out the fundraising plan.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's or master's degree in higher education, experience fundraising, and the ability to "secure relationships with corporations, foundations, and individuals to secure support for the university's diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice initiatives," per the position description.
