A foundation in Seguin, Texas, is on its way to handing out millions of dollars to local charities each year, the San Antonio Express-News reports.
According to KSAT, the Seguin Area Community Foundation has given away more than $168,000 in the past few years.
Foundation president Wayne Windle says it would be "really realistic" to reach $10 million in donations in the next few years.
Windle says the foundation was started 10 years ago by a family member who wanted to give back to the community after his parents died.
The foundation raises money and then distributes it to local charities.
Windle says the best part of the foundation is that it can support any cause.
“We need this group and people in this organization to help spread the world, to help us continue to raise money the same way that we have,” he tells KSAT.
