If you're in Pine River, Minn., and can't get enough fresh produce to eat, there's a new program you may want to check out.
It's called "Farm-to-Food-Shelf," and it's a partnership between a number of local food shelves and local farmers, reports the Pine River Echo Journal.
The idea is to prevent excess produce from going to waste, and thus help those in need get fresh, healthy food.
This year, the program has expanded to include more farmers and growers, and they're looking for volunteers to help plant, maintain, and harvest the produce.
