So says the CEO of Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, which has been designated " Magnet for Nursing Excellence" for the fifth consecutive year by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
The designation is given to hospitals that show "steadfast commitment to nursing excellence and innovation of select healthcare organizations and their personnel," per a press release.
"Being recognized for 20 years by ANCC for nursing excellence and I am immensely grateful for our incredible nursing staff, our superb nursing leaders, our world-renowned physicians, and every team member who impacts patient care across the organization," says Texas Children's President and CEO Mark Wallace.
The release notes that the designation is "exceptional and a testament to our structure and the strength of our nursing leadership team."
Texas Children's Hospital is the largest children's hospital in the US and one of the top ranked children's hospitals in the world, per a press release.
It's affiliated with Baylor West Campus in Houston, the first hospital devoted to high-risk births in Texas, and the Feigin Research Institute, which focuses on women's health.
