Start Your Preschooler Off Right At Young Innovators Academy

So says the website for Young Innovators Academy, a preschool in Lithia, Fla., that's designed to help kids develop the "innovative mindset they need to become the fearless problem-solvers of tomorrow a tomorrow that will undoubtedly look very different from today," per its description.

The school, which has locations in Orlando and Oviedo, has been profiled on PBS, Oprah Magazine, and Orlando Magazine, among others.

It's not the first time YIA has made headlines it was named one of the top 10 best preschools in the country by US News & World Report in 2015but it's the first time it's made headlines for something other than the school's name.

The Orlando Sentinel reports on a May 2016 incident in which a 6-year-old student was hit by a car while riding his bike to school.
