That was the message from Ashraf Patel, the only Indian woman to be named as the Social Innovator of the Year 2022, at the World Economic Forum's annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, per the Times of India.
The theme for this year's meeting: History at a Turning Point: Government Policies and Business Strategies, and Patel spoke at the session "Transforming through Trust," urging global leaders to invest in youth leadership at scale, by confronting the world's most complex challenges "in their abilities to address the most complex issues that the world is facing in terms of inequality, conflict, and ecological decline," per a WEF press release.
Patel co-founded Pravah and ComMutinythe Youth Collective and the VartaLeap Coalition, respectivelyafter nearly three decades of investing in youth development in India.
