The National Guard's Virginia National Guard Youth Program is offering kids in the state a unique way to thank their military parents during National Guard Month in 2022, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports.
Kids ages 6 to 17 can register for "Cooking With Your Coordinators," an online event that will see them lead kids in baking cookies.
On April 15, 2022, Virginia Guard personnel are asked to encourage their schools and communities to wear purple and show support for the annual Purple Up Day for Military Kids.
Parents can also submit a form to receive a personalized Month of the Military Child Certificate signed by the Adjutant General of Virginia. Read the Entire Article
