Recognizing the important role of women in local philanthropy, the Greater Lowell Community Foundation manages many independent funds established by women who pool their resources to support their communities. Although the 17-year-old Women Working Wonders Fund and 100+ Women Who Care Metrowest operate in different ways, both groups have a common mission, which is to integrate resources to help others.
