About Us
UAMS will expand its Healthy Start program to Ashley, Ouachita and Union counties this fall.
The program provides essential prenatal care services to women and families in south Arkansas.
Since 2019, the institute has served more than 1,700 clients and reduced preterm births among Marshallese communities by more than 3%.
The program aligns with UAMS' mission to improve maternal health outcomes across Arkansas.
