Critical Support for Women in Philanthropy through the Greater Lowell Community Foundation

Recognizing the important role of women in local philanthropy, the Greater Lowell Community Foundation manages many independent funds established by women who pool their resources to support their communities. GLCF is proud be able to support these generous women and welcome other groups eager to participate to learn how they work together.

Although the 17-year-old Women Working Wonders Fund and 100+ Women Who Care Metrowest operate in different ways, both groups have a common mission, which is to integrate resources to help others. The mission of the WWW Fund, which has now grown to $1.3 million, has always been the same: empower women and girls to influence positive change in the Greater Lowell community.

The impact of COVID-19 has had a huge negative impact on women and girls, making the efforts of these funds more important than ever. Read the Entire Article
