Young people from around Nigeria are entering a pitch competition in hopes of winning start-up funding from N-Power, a program paid for by the federal government.
The top five of this competition will be selected to present to the Vice President, Yemi Osinabajo. In their presentations, participants will demonstrate how their ideas impact their communities. Many people are interested in vying for this opportunity, up to 4,000 people have applied so far.
The participants will congregate at what is known as the South-South Hub. This is being run by the federal government as well as the Edo State Government. The facility, South-South Hub, will facilitate everyone involved as well as over twenty-five companies who will use the hub for training and certification programs.
Both young people and old people will benefit from this as they will be gaining skills and certification.
