Eastland Community Trust in New Zealand aims to boost funding for the local economy, help feed young schoolchildren, and provide jobs. It is estimated that Eastland Community Trust's latest round of funding will create around $1 million for the local economy. The community organizations minor funding pool recipients are diverse and represent a wide array of projects and organizations, such as the New Zealand Concert Band national festival.
A $10,000 grant be used for the youth divers license program. The program aims to help 50 young adults receive their license.
